 I have been fishing for well over 30 years and understand the difference between a store bought manufactured rod and a custom made fishing rod.  I understand what a difference a rod can have between a good day or a bad day on the lake.  My wife, Diane and I used to fish in tournaments around the state of Georgia and would have success some days and not so much other days.  One big problem that plagued Diane was not being able to feel the light bite and having the fish many times swallow the bait.  I started doing more investigation into how rods were built and began experimenting on a rod for myself.  Once I completed my first rod and tried it out I immediately felt the difference between the store bought and the rod I had built myself.  I built one for Diane and the next tournament she had more success in catching those lighter biting fish without them swallowing the bait.  I have now been building and repairing rods for 10 years.  I build my custom rods with pride, craftsmanship and a level of precision and accuracy  to produce nothing but the finest rods around.  I build my rods with the finest components and spend  many hours with each rod that I build working on the details to ensure that every step of the process is done to perfection.  The spine of each rod blank is perfectly aligned, the grips are each hand fit and secured, the reel seat is locked down with the strongest of epoxies.  Each and every wrap of the thread is tight and clean and all guides are neatly coated with several coats of a stabilized epoxy.  Of course each rod is wrapped in the colors of your choice and has a unique pattern wrapping in front of the fore grip.  You may also choose to have you name, a specific fish, sports team or other symbol of your choosing on your rod that will make it unique to you.  The cost of having a custom rod designed for you depends on the elements you choose to have it built with.  Most rods can be built in about 2 - 3 weeks give or take a day on either side.  Please call or email me so that we can discuss you needs in order to build you the ultimate rod for your fishing pleasure!!
