A custom rod can offer the angler many alternatives not offered by a manufactured rod. Whether a fishing rod is factory built or custom built it must satisfy the anglers needs and objectives. Catching bigger and better fish! Below are questions to ask yourself before ordering your custom fishing rod.
What Am I Going To Do With My Rod?
What Specifications Do I Want For My Rod?
-
What length of rod do I want
-
What type of reel seat do I want
-
What type of grip do I want
-
What type of guides do I want
-
What Color wrap do I want
-
Do I want a special theme for my rod
When building my rods I use only the best elements that I can find. The blanks I recommend using are Lemiglas, Phenix, MHX and St. Croix. For the wrap I use a quality NCP Nylon Color Preserved Thread.
Ever stepped on your rod damaging it then throwing it away thinking it cannot be repaired, well in some case it can be repaired. For eye replacement I use Fugi guides matching them as close as possible to the original rod guides. For broken rods contact me to discuss if a rod can be repaired before just throwing it away.
